Wisconsin punter Andy Vujnovich out-rushed Penn State star running back Nick Singleton in the first half of the Badgers' Big Ten opener against the Nittany Lions on Saturday.
Vujnovich, a junior from Mukwonago, Wis., had 13 yards on two carries in the first half, while Singleton, a true freshman from Reading, Pa., was held to just 10 yards on six carries.
The Badgers were able to control the clock and keep the ball out of Singleton's hands for much of the first half. Wisconsin ran 29 plays to Penn State's 17 in the first half, and held a 177-80 advantage in total yards.

The win was the second straight for the Badgers to open the season. Wisconsin beat Illinois State 38-0 in the season opener.
The loss was the first of the season for Penn State. The Nittany Lions had a bye in Week 1.
Wisconsin will host Washington State next Saturday, while Penn State will travel to Auburn.
