Indianapolis Colts legend Edgerrin James to be inducted into the Colts Ring of Honor
The Indianapolis Colts will honor one of their greatest players in franchise history when they induct running back Edgerrin James into the Colts Ring of Honor during halftime of their game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday, October 3.
James, who played for the Colts from 1999 to 2005, is the franchise's all-time leading rusher with 12,280 yards and ranks second in Colts history with 71 rushing touchdowns.
He was a four-time Pro Bowl selection and two-time All-Pro selection with the Colts, and he led the NFL in rushing in 2000.
James was a key member of the Colts' "Greatest Show on Turf" offense that led the team to AFC Championships in 2003 and 2004.
He was also a member of the Colts' Super Bowl XLI championship team in 2006.
James was inducted into the Colts Ring of Honor in 2020, and his induction will be celebrated during halftime of the Colts' game against the Raiders.
The Colts Ring of Honor is the highest honor that the team can bestow upon a player, and James is one of just 16 players to be inducted into the Ring of Honor.
