Moto2: Ogura Takes Pole In Thailand
Ai Ogura took pole position in Thailand, he will be joined on the front row by Augusto Fernandez and Celestino Vietti.
Ogura put in a blistering lap of 1:35.654 to claim pole ahead of Fernandez, who set a time of 1:35.701. Vietti will start alongside Fernandez on the front row in third with a time of 1:35.710.
The Thai Grand Prix takes place this weekend at the Chang International Circuit, with the Moto2 race scheduled for Sunday at 10:20am local time.
Ogura will be hoping to convert his pole position into a victory, which would be his second of the season. The Japanese rider currently sits second in the championship standings, just 14 points adrift of Celestino Vietti.
