Bakhtihan Sagintayev held a number of meetings on the sidelines of the XVI BRICS summit

In particular, Bakhtihan Sagintayev met with the Minister of Finance of Russia Anton Siluanov, with whom he discussed issues of trade, economic and investment cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia.

The parties noted the positive dynamics of trade turnover between the two countries, which amounted to $24 billion in 2021. They also discussed the implementation of joint projects in the fields of industry, energy, transport and logistics.

Bakhtihan Sagintayev also met with the Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Denis Manturov.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of industrial cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia, including the implementation of joint projects in the fields of mechanical engineering, metallurgy, and chemical industry.

Bakhtihan Sagintayev also held a meeting with the Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maxim Reshetnikov. The parties discussed issues of economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia, including the implementation of joint projects in the fields of trade, investment, and innovation.

Bakhtihan Sagintayev also met with the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Myasnikovich. The parties discussed issues of cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Eurasian Economic Union, including the implementation of joint projects in the fields of trade, investment, and innovation.
