Wolves Hit 20 of 44 From Three
The Timberwolves led by just five points at halftime, but they opened up a 15-point lead in the third quarter and never looked back. The Raptors closed the gap to seven points in the fourth quarter, but the Wolves hit some big shots down the stretch to seal the win.
Wolves Defense Impresses
The Timberwolves' defense was impressive, holding the Raptors to just 102 points. Towns was a force in the paint, blocking three shots and altering several others. The Wolves also forced 12 turnovers.
Next Up for Wolves
The Timberwolves will be back in action on Wednesday night when they host the Memphis Grizzlies. The Grizzlies are 2-0 this season, so the Wolves will need to be ready to play another tough game.
