Week 8 Friday Injury Report: Two WRs out, Dalton doubtful
Cincinnati Bengals
Injured:
- WR Ja'Marr Chase (hip)
- WR Tee Higgins (ankle)
- QB Andy Dalton (hamstring)
Status:
- Chase and Higgins are out for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns.
- Dalton is doubtful to play.
The Bengals are already without their top wide receiver, Ja'Marr Chase, who is dealing with a hip injury. Now, they will also be without Tee Higgins, who suffered an ankle injury in practice this week.
With Chase and Higgins out, the Bengals will be counting on Tyler Boyd and Mike Thomas to step up in the passing game. Boyd is the team's leading receiver with 40 catches for 517 yards and three touchdowns this season. Thomas has 20 catches for 272 yards and two touchdowns.
Andy Dalton is also doubtful to play this week due to a hamstring injury. If Dalton is unable to play, Brandon Allen will start at quarterback for the Bengals.
The Bengals are 4-3 this season and are currently in second place in the AFC North. They will face the Cleveland Browns on Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium.
