Wojciech Szczesny has explained why he doesn't play for Barcelona. The Polish goalkeeper has been linked with a move to the Camp Nou in the past, but he insists he is happy at Juventus.
Speaking to Polish outlet Przeglad Sportowy, Szczesny said: "I'm very happy at Juventus. I've been here for five years now and I feel like I'm part of the family. I have a great relationship with the fans, the club and my teammates. I'm not thinking about leaving."
Szczesny has been Juventus' first-choice goalkeeper since he joined the club from Arsenal in 2017. He has won five Serie A titles, three Coppa Italias and two Supercoppa Italianas during his time in Turin.
The 32-year-old has also been a key player for Poland, helping them reach the quarter-finals of the 2016 European Championship and the round of 16 of the 2018 World Cup.
Szczesny's comments come amid speculation that Barcelona are looking for a new goalkeeper.
The Catalan giants have been linked with a move for Manchester United's David de Gea and Chelsea's Kepa Arrizabalaga, but Szczesny insists he is not interested in leaving Juventus.
"I'm not thinking about leaving," he said. "I'm happy here and I want to stay. I'm focused on winning more trophies with Juventus."
