Seahawks LB Tyrel Dodson Excited To Face Former Team
Seattle Seahawks linebacker Tyrel Dodson is excited to face his former team, the Carolina Panthers, in Week 14.
Dodson was drafted by the Panthers in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He played in 15 games for Carolina in 2020 and 2021, starting two games.
Dodson was waived by the Panthers in August 2022 and signed by the Seahawks in September.
Dodson has played in 10 games for the Seahawks this season, starting two games. He has 31 tackles, 2 sacks, and 1 forced fumble.
The Seahawks and Panthers will face off at Lumen Field in Seattle on Sunday, December 11th at 1:05 p.m. PT.
Dodson is looking forward to the opportunity to play against his former team.
"It's going to be a lot of fun," Dodson said. "I'm excited to go out there and compete against my old teammates. It's going to be a great atmosphere, and I'm just looking forward to it."
Dodson is confident that the Seahawks can beat the Panthers.
"We're a good team," Dodson said. "We've got a lot of talent, and we're playing well together. I think we can go out there and beat anybody."
