Geno, Penny and Ryan among game captains for Monday Night Football

Geno Smith, Kenneth Walker III, Ryan Neal and Darrell Taylor to lead Seahawks

RENTON, Wash. - Geno Smith, Kenneth Walker III, Ryan Neal and Darrell Taylor will serve as game captains for the Seattle Seahawks in their Week 8 Monday Night Football matchup against the Buffalo Bills. Smith has been a key leader for the Seahawks since being named the starting quarterback in training camp. He has thrown for 1,537 yards, nine touchdowns and three interceptions with a passer rating of 101.2. Walker has been a workhorse for the Seahawks’ offense, leading the team with 431 rushing yards and four touchdowns. He is averaging 4.7 yards per carry and has broken tackles consistently. Neal has been a standout in the Seahawks’ secondary, leading the team with four interceptions. He has also made 20 tackles and two tackles for loss. Taylor has been a force on the Seahawks’ pass rush, with four sacks and 11 quarterback hits. He has also made 17 tackles, three tackles for loss and two forced fumbles. The Seahawks and Bills are both 4-3 on the season. The Seahawks are trying to win their third consecutive game, while the Bills are looking to snap a two-game losing streak. The game will be played at Lumen Field in Seattle on Monday, Oct. 31 at 8:15 p.m. ET.
