Roy Lopez Injury: Out for Sunday
Roy Lopez, the starting quarterback for the Cardinals, is out for Sunday's game against the 49ers due to a sprained MCL.
Lopez was injured in the third quarter of the Cardinals' 24-20 loss to the Seahawks on Sunday. He was sacked by Seahawks defensive end Jadeveon Clowney and suffered a sprain to his left knee.
Lopez is expected to miss at least two weeks with the injury.
The Cardinals are now 2-4 on the season and will start backup quarterback Colt McCoy against the 49ers. McCoy has started four games for the Cardinals this season, going 2-2. He has thrown for 948 yards, six touchdowns, and three interceptions.
