Isaiah Augustave missed the first two games of the season due to a suspension. He hadn't started a game in college before this year because of the depth at the running back position in Colorado. But the redshirt freshman has taken advantage of his expanded role. Augustave has more carries and receptions than games played this season.

Augustave has emerged as a top target for JT Shrout. He's tied for second on the team in receptions and went over 100 receiving yards in the team's loss to Air Force. In the Buffs' win over Arizona, he tied a school record for most rushing touchdowns by a freshman in a single game.

Augustave runs hard and is a threat to score from anywhere on the field. He has four touchdowns on the season, three rushing and one receiving. Augustave could be in line for an even bigger role in the Buffs offense as the season progresses.
