Pregame Availability Report: The Latest on Will Johnson, Jack Tuttle, and Other U-M Players Before MSU Clash

Ann Arbor, Mich. -

Michigan football will be without two key players when it travels to East Lansing to take on Michigan State on Saturday. Starting cornerback Will Johnson and backup quarterback Jack Tuttle will both miss the game due to injuries.

Johnson has been dealing with an ankle injury that he suffered in the first half of Michigan's win over Indiana last week. He did not return to the game and was seen wearing a walking boot on the sideline. Tuttle has been dealing with a shoulder injury that he suffered in the second half of Michigan's win over Maryland two weeks ago. He did not play in the Indiana game.

In addition to Johnson and Tuttle, Michigan will also be without a number of other players due to injury. Running back Donovan Edwards, wide receiver Roman Wilson, and defensive end Mike Morris are all questionable for the game.

Despite the injuries, Michigan is still a heavy favorite to win Saturday's game. The Wolverines are ranked No. 2 in the College Football Playoff rankings, while Michigan State is unranked.

Here is the full injury report for Michigan football:

* Out: * Will Johnson, CB (ankle) * Jack Tuttle, QB (shoulder) * Questionable: * Donovan Edwards, RB (ankle) * Roman Wilson, WR (undisclosed) * Mike Morris, DE (undisclosed)
