The Jayhawks were led by junior outside hitter Jada Burse, who had a match-high 15 kills. Senior middle blocker Caroline Crawford added 10 kills and four blocks.

Utah was led by senior outside hitter Dani Drews, who had 13 kills. The Utes hit .206 as a team, their lowest hitting percentage in a match this season.
The Jayhawks' win was their first in Utah since 2006. Kansas is now 10-4 on the season and 2-1 in Big 12 play.
Kansas will return to action on Sunday, September 25, when they host No. 1 Texas in Lawrence.
