Nick Scott Placed on IR, Among Other Safety Moves
Scott missed the last game with a concussion
The Los Angeles Rams made several roster moves on Tuesday, including placing safety Nick Scott on injured reserve.
Scott has been dealing with a concussion and missed the Rams' last game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Other safety moves
The Rams also waived safety Terrell Burgess and signed safety Tyler Hall to the active roster.
Burgess was a seventh-round pick by the Rams in the 2020 NFL Draft. He has played in 12 games for the Rams, starting two.
Hall was a college free agent signee by the Rams in 2022.
Scott's injury is a big blow to the Rams' defense
Scott is one of the Rams' best young defensive players. He started 15 games last season and finished with 75 tackles, two interceptions, and two forced fumbles.
With Scott on injured reserve, the Rams will likely turn to Taylor Rapp and Jordan Fuller as their starting safeties.
