The Golden Knights, meanwhile, have won four straight and are now 10-4-1 on the season.

Shea Theodore scored the game's first goal on a power play in the first period.

William Karlsson added to the lead in the second period with a goal off a rebound.

Alex Pietrangelo scored an empty-net goal in the final minute to seal the victory.

James Reimer made 24 saves for the shutout.

Adin Hill stopped 32 shots for the Sharks.

The Sharks will return to action on Saturday night when they host the Anaheim Ducks.

The Golden Knights will next play on Saturday night when they host the Seattle Kraken.
