Chelsea will return home after a disappointing loss to Tottenham Hotspur on matchday 25. Newcastle United had a comfortable matchday 25 and grabbed three points against Fulham. Anything else besides a win at home for Chelsea will cause problems for Potter.

Newcastle missed a chance to move into the top four in the Premier League table when they drew with Bournemouth before the international break.

Newcastle have won four of their last five Premier League games, with their only loss in that run coming against league leaders Arsenal. The Magpies are now fifth in the table, one point behind Tottenham in fourth and two points behind Manchester United in third.

Chelsea have won just one of their last four Premier League games, and are winless in their last two. The Blues are now eighth in the table, 10 points behind Tottenham in fourth.
