MotoGP, Thailand J1, Fonsi Nieto Pramac: "This is the most crucial race of the year for Pecco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin"
Pramac Racing Sporting Director Fonsi Nieto spoke after the first day of free practice for the Thailand Grand Prix, which took place this Friday at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, at the end of which Pecco Bagnaia finished in fourth position and Jorge MartÃn in eighth
The Pramac Racing Sporting Director valued the work done by his riders on the first day of work at the Thai track, where the Italian set the fourth best time today and his Spanish team-mate the eighth, both within the top 10.
"We are satisfied with how the day went. We have found some interesting things. We know what we have to improve. We have taken a step forward and we are confident for the rest of the weekend," said Nieto.
Regarding Bagnaia, the Pramac Racing Sporting Director explained that "Pecco must have a good result, it is a very important race for him and for the championship. He is ready to fight for victory and we will give him all our support."
"Jorge also made some good progress today, but he still has to find the best feeling with the bike to be able to be competitive, especially with the used tyre," Nieto added
"We are confident, the team is working very well and we are determined to finish the overseas with a good result," he concluded.
