Mavericks Take 2-0 Series Lead

Dallas Defeats Minnesota 109-108

The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 109-108 on Wednesday night to take a 2-0 lead in their Western Conference series. Luka Doncic led the way for the Mavericks with 33 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 assists, while Karl-Anthony Towns had 25 points and 10 rebounds for the Timberwolves.

The game was close throughout, with neither team leading by more than 10 points at any point. The Mavericks took a 5-point lead into the fourth quarter, but the Timberwolves fought back to tie the game with just over a minute remaining. Doncic then hit a jumper to give the Mavericks a 109-108 lead, and the Timberwolves were unable to score on their final possession.

The Mavericks now have a 2-0 lead in the series and will host Game 3 on Friday night. The Timberwolves will need to win at least one game in Dallas to avoid being swept out of the playoffs.

With a swish and a shout, Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks are headed home with a 2-0 lead in the Western Conference.
