Suzanne Perry Reveals Her Son's Last Words to Her
Matthew Perry's mother, Suzanne Perry, is speaking out about her son's near-death experience in 2018, and how she believes he had a "premonition" about his own death.
In an interview with People magazine, Suzanne revealed that Matthew told her, "If I die, will you be okay?" just weeks before he was rushed to the hospital with a perforated colon.
Matthew's Near-Death Experience
Matthew was hospitalized in 2018 for a perforated colon, which is a life-threatening condition. He underwent emergency surgery and spent several weeks in the hospital.
Suzanne said that during that time, Matthew was "very, very sick" and "not doing well." She added that she "didn't know if he was going to make it."
Matthew's Recovery
Fortunately, Matthew recovered from his surgery and is now doing well.
Suzanne said that she believes Matthew's near-death experience has changed him for the better. She said that he is "more appreciative of life" and "more grateful for the things that he has."
Suzanne's Message to Others
Suzanne said that she hopes her son's story will inspire others to cherish their loved ones and to live each day to the fullest.
"Don't take life for granted," she said. "Tell your loved ones how much you love them. And don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it."
