LaMelo Ball questionable for Heat game with bruised tailbone
Ball suffered the injury in the Hornets' loss to the Pacers on Friday
The Hornets are already without Gordon Hayward (ankle) and Cody Martin (knee)
LaMelo Ball is questionable for the Charlotte Hornets' game against the Miami Heat on Monday night with a bruised tailbone.
Ball suffered the injury in the Hornets' 125-113 loss to the Indiana Pacers on Friday night. He played 31 minutes in the game and finished with 26 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists.
The Hornets are already without Gordon Hayward (ankle) and Cody Martin (knee), so Ball's absence would be a major blow to their lineup. Terry Rozier would likely start at point guard in Ball's place, with James Bouknight or Kelly Oubre Jr. moving into the starting lineup.
The Hornets are 7-9 this season and are currently in 10th place in the Eastern Conference. They have lost three of their last four games.
The Heat are 10-6 this season and are in fifth place in the Eastern Conference. They have won three of their last four games.
The Heat are a tough opponent, but the Hornets have a chance to win if Ball is able to play. He is one of the most talented young players in the NBA and can make a big difference for his team.
