Krasnoyarsk actor Vlad Demin: “I was condemned for choosing a frivolous profession”
Vlad Demin, a self-taught actor, director and screenwriter from Krasnoyarsk, has starred in more than 20 films and TV series.
After graduating from school, he entered the Krasnoyarsk State Institute of Arts on the course of Vladimir Petrovich Pokhmelkin, but after the first year he left the university.
Why did you decide to become an actor?
I have always been a creative person, and I have always dreamed of a scene. After the 9th grade, he entered the Krasnoyarsk State Institute of Arts on the course of Vladimir Petrovich Pokhmelkin, but after the first year he left the university.
“I got there not of my own free will,” Vlad explained. - I entered the theater to please my parents. I thought that it was necessary to get a serious profession, “like everyone else.” But I could not force myself to study, I was not interested in it. And I decided to drop out of university and try to enter theater school in Moscow.
But in Moscow, Vlad did not manage to enter the theater. He returned to Krasnoyarsk and got a job as a loader in a furniture store. But the dream of the stage did not let him go. From time to time, Vlad played in student and amateur performances.
In 2010, Vlad Demin made his film debut, starring in the film "Edge". This was followed by roles in such films as "Interns", "Kitchen", "Fizruk", "Molodezhka", "Investigator Tikhonov".
“Now I am in demand as an actor, and I am grateful to fate for giving me the opportunity to do what I love,” says Vlad. - I do not regret at all that I left the Krasnoyarsk State Institute of Arts. I think that if I had stayed there, I would not have become an actor.
Today Vlad Demin is one of the most sought-after young actors in Russia. He is often invited to shoot in films and TV series, and theatrical directors offer him interesting roles.
“I love acting,” Vlad admits. - This is my life, my vocation. I am grateful to fate for giving me the opportunity to do what I love.
