Keldon Johnson's 16 points led the San Antonio Spurs to a 110-103 victory over the Boston Celtics on Monday night. Johnson was efficient from the field, shooting 6-of-10 from the floor and 4-of-6 from three-point range. Dejounte Murray added 15 points and 9 assists for the Spurs, while Jakob Poeltl contributed 13 points and 13 rebounds.
The Spurs got off to a hot start, taking a 10-point lead in the first quarter. The Celtics fought back in the second quarter, but the Spurs held on to a 55-49 lead at the half. In the second half, the Spurs extended their lead to as many as 15 points. The Celtics made a late push, but the Spurs held on for the victory.
The Spurs' win snapped a two-game losing streak and improved their record to 10-20. The Celtics, who have now lost three of their last four games, fell to 17-12.
The Spurs will be back in action on Wednesday night when they host the Golden State Warriors. The Celtics will be back in action on Tuesday night when they host the New York Knicks.
