The Carolina Hurricanes extended their winning streak to three games with a 4-1 victory over the Seattle Kraken on Monday at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle.
Antti Raanta made 30 saves for the Hurricanes, who improved to 6-2-1 on the season. Philipp Grubauer made 27 saves for the Kraken, who fell to 3-5-2.
Jesperi Kotkaniemi opened the scoring for the Hurricanes just 2:21 into the game. Andrei Svechnikov made it 2-0 at 15:09 of the first period, and Martin Necas extended the lead to 3-0 at 6:47 of the second period.
Jordan Martinook got the Kraken on the board at 12:56 of the second period, but Jarvis restored the three-goal lead at 18:03 of the second period.
The Hurricanes will return to action on Wednesday when they host the New York Rangers. The Kraken will return to action on Thursday when they host the Vegas Golden Knights.
