Foden and Nunez to Start for Manchester City Against Southampton in EPL Match
Manchester City will be looking to maintain their lead at the top of the Premier League table when they travel to face Southampton on Saturday.
Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Phil Foden and Darwin Nunez will both start the match, while Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland are both doubts.
Foden has been in excellent form for City this season, scoring 10 goals and providing 15 assists in all competitions.
Nunez, meanwhile, has struggled to find his best form since joining from Benfica in the summer, but he will be hoping to make a mark against Southampton.
City will be without De Bruyne, who is suffering from a knock, while Haaland is also a doubt with a foot injury.
Southampton, meanwhile, will be looking to bounce back from their 3-1 defeat to Brighton last weekend.
The Saints are currently 19th in the table, just one point above the relegation zone.
Ralph Hasenhuttl's side will be without Romeo Lavia, who is suspended, while Theo Walcott and Tino Livramento are both doubts.
The match is due to kick off at 3pm on Saturday.
