Doug Pederson: 'We're going to Green Bay to win'
Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson is confident in his team's ability to win in Green Bay this week.
The Jaguars are coming off a 24-0 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles last week, but Pederson said he believes his team has what it takes to beat the Packers.
"We're going to Green Bay to win," Pederson said. "We know it's a tough place to play, but we're confident in our team."
The Packers are 3-6 this season, but they have a strong defense that has allowed just 17.1 points per game.
The Jaguars will need to find a way to score points against the Packers' defense, but Pederson said he believes his team has the playmakers to get the job done.
"We have a lot of weapons on offense," Pederson said. "We just need to find a way to get them the ball in space."
The Jaguars will also need to play well on defense against the Packers' offense, which is led by quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
"Aaron Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL," Pederson said. "We're going to have to be on our A-game to stop him."
The Jaguars will travel to Green Bay on Sunday for a 1 p.m. ET kickoff.
