Dorian Thompson-Robinson listed as full on Wednesday injury report
Bruin’s quarterback cleared to play vs. Stanford
UCLA’s senior quarterback should be ready after sitting out Oregon win
Dorian Thompson-Robinson is listed as a full participant on UCLA football’s Wednesday injury report, putting him on track to start Saturday against rival Stanford.
Thompson-Robinson did not play in the Bruins’ 45-30 win over Oregon on Saturday due to a lower-body injury. Backup Ethan Garbers started in his place and completed 16 of 27 passes for 169 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.
With Thompson-Robinson back in the fold, the Bruins should have a much better chance of moving the ball against a Stanford defense that ranks 85th in the country in yards allowed per play.
Thompson-Robinson has been one of the most productive quarterbacks in the Pac-12 this season, completing 63.7% of his passes for 1,987 yards, 17 touchdowns and five interceptions.
He has also rushed for 292 yards and five touchdowns, making him a threat to score every time he touches the ball.
The Bruins will need Thompson-Robinson to be at his best against Stanford, which has won two of the last three meetings between the two schools.
The game will be played at Stanford Stadium on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. PT.
