NYC City Clerk Resumes In-Person Marriage Ceremonies and License Appointments

Appointments Required as of July 19

Effective Monday, July 19, couples can once again schedule in-person marriage ceremonies or license appointments with the New York City Clerk's Office. To schedule an appointment, select the desired City Clerk office location.

Mail-In Option Available

Alternatively, couples can opt for the mail-in process by sending the completed marriage license application and a self-addressed stamped envelope to the Office of the City Clerk at 141 Worth Street, New York, NY 10013.

The Office of the City Clerk conducts marriage ceremonies throughout the day in all five borough offices, providing couples with convenient and accessible options.
