Motorists are congratulated on their professional holiday in the transport auto park

Today, automotive transport workers celebrate their professional holiday - Motorist Day. On this occasion, the management of the transport auto park congratulated the drivers and presented them with certificates of honor and valuable gifts.

The chairman of the Bobruisk city organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Workers of Motor Transport and Road Facilities, Alexander Baranovsky, thanked the drivers for their professional work, responsibility and reliability.

On behalf of the management of the transport auto park, the chairman of the primary trade union organization Natalya Tsybulko congratulated her colleagues and wished them good luck in their difficult profession.

The driver is a sought-after profession not only in the transport industry, but also in the field of international transportation. Professional motorists work in all sectors of the national economy, providing the uninterrupted operation of the economy and numerous social spheres.

The profession of a driver is the most important not only in peacetime, but also in the Armed Forces of Belarus. Drivers are an integral part of any military unit. They ensure the movement of troops, solve complex combat missions. In the modern conditions of armed conflicts, the role of drivers is also very important. They risk their lives on an equal basis with military personnel, performing tasks in difficult and dangerous conditions.

On August 7, 2014, Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree "On the establishment of Motorist Day". It is celebrated in the country on the last Sunday of October.
