Indianapolis Colts Sign Trevor Denbow & Robert Windsor to Practice Squad
The Indianapolis Colts have signed defensive tackle Trevor Denbow and defensive end Robert Windsor to their practice squad ahead of their Week 8 game against the Houston Texans. Both players have previous NFL experience, with Denbow playing for the Las Vegas Raiders and Windsor playing for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Trevor Denbow
Denbow, 25, was a seventh-round pick by the Raiders in the 2021 NFL Draft. He played in 16 games for the Raiders last season, recording 12 tackles and one sack. He was waived by the Raiders on September 1, 2023.
Robert Windsor
Windsor, 26, signed with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2022. He played in 10 games for the Jaguars last season, recording five tackles and one sack. He was waived by the Jaguars on September 1, 2023.
The Colts also released defensive end Kameron Cline from their practice squad to make room for Denbow and Windsor.
The Colts are currently 3-3-1 on the season and are coming off a 34-27 overtime loss to the Tennessee Titans. They will face the Texans, who are 1-5-1 on the season, at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday, October 30th.
The addition of Denbow and Windsor will provide the Colts with some depth on their defensive line. Both players have shown potential in the NFL, and they could contribute to the Colts' success in the second half of the season.
