Wide receiver Jalen Reagor has been elevated from the Chargers' practice squad to the active roster for the second time this season. Reagor was initially elevated to the active roster for the Chargers' Week 1 game against the Raiders, but was inactive for the game. He was re-signed to the practice squad the following week.

Reagor was a first-round pick by the Eagles in the 2020 NFL Draft. He spent the first two seasons of his career with the Eagles, but was traded to the Vikings in August of 2022. He was waived by the Vikings in October of 2022 and signed to the Chargers' practice squad in November of 2022.

What Reagor's elevation means for the Chargers

Reagor's elevation to the active roster is a sign that the Chargers are dealing with some injuries at the wide receiver position. Keenan Allen (hamstring) and Mike Williams (ankle) are both currently listed as questionable for the Chargers' Week 10 game against the 49ers. If either of those players is unable to play, Reagor could be in line to make his Chargers debut.

Reagor is a talented receiver who has shown flashes of his potential in the NFL. He has good speed and athleticism, and he is a willing blocker. If he can earn the trust of Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert, he could be a valuable addition to the offense.
