Carter Sets Kill Record as K-State Falls to #21 Utah in Four Sets
Wildcats Drop Fourth Straight Match
Carter Breaks K-State Single-Match Kill Record
K-State junior outside hitter Elena Baka recorded a record-setting 14 kills in the Wildcats loss to Utah in four sets on Saturday night.
Baka's impressive performance broke the previous single-match kill record of 13, which was set by former Wildcat All-American Bryna Vogel in 1989.
Despite Baka's record-breaking performance it wasn't enough as the Wildcats fell to 5-4 on the season with the loss to Utah.
The Utes, who are ranked No. 21 in the country, improved to 7-2 with the win.
K-State will look to rebound when they host Nebraska on Wednesday night at Ahearn Field House.
