Bournemouth and Zabara hold out for a draw in the dying minutes, while football produces real-life dramas in Brighton and London

Vitaliy Zabara came off the bench to score a dramatic equaliser and earn Bournemouth a point against Brentford.

The Ukrainian international struck in the 89th minute to cancel out Yoane Wissa's first-half opener.

The result lifted Bournemouth out of the relegation zone, while Brentford missed the chance to move up to fifth.

In a pulsating match at the Vitality Stadium, Bournemouth started brightly but fell behind to Wissa's 20th-minute goal.

The Congolese forward met Rico Henry's low cross at the near post and fired into the roof of the net.

Bournemouth responded well to the setback and created a number of chances, but they could not find an equaliser before the break.

In the second half, Bournemouth continued to press and were eventually rewarded when Zabara headed home Lloyd Kelly's cross.

The point was a vital one for Bournemouth, who are now three points clear of the relegation zone.

Brentford, meanwhile, were left to rue missed chances as they dropped to seventh in the table.

In other Premier League action, there were dramatic wins for Brighton and Fulham.

Brighton came from behind to beat Crystal Palace 3-1 at the Amex Stadium.

Marc Cucurella, Leandro Trossard and Neal Maupay scored the goals for Brighton, while Wilfried Zaha netted a late consolation for Palace.

Fulham also came from behind to beat Southampton 2-1 at Craven Cottage.

Aleksandar Mitrovic and Carlos Vinicius scored the goals for Fulham, while James Ward-Prowse netted a penalty for Southampton.

The results mean that Brighton are now ninth in the table, while Fulham are 10th.

In the Championship, there was a thrilling 3-3 draw between Burnley and Luton Town at Turf Moor.

Burnley took the lead three times, but Luton equalised each time to earn a point.

Jay Rodriguez, Anass Zaroury and Manuel Benson scored for Burnley, while Harry Cornick, Carlton Morris and Alfie Doughty netted for Luton.

The result leaves Burnley top of the table, while Luton are third.
