Broken Records
Week 10 of the AHSAA football season saw several records broken.
Rushing yards: Wenonah running back Will Flowers rushed for 321 yards in a win over Fairfield, breaking the school record set by Deekey Lacey in 1994.
Passing yards: Clay-Chalkville quarterback Khalib Johnson threw for 501 yards in a win over Mountain Brook, breaking the school record set by Ty Pigrome in 2014.
Receiving yards: Hewitt-Trussville receiver Jaleel Skinner had 202 receiving yards in a win over Vestavia Hills, breaking the school record set by Je'Vontaye Hughes in 2017.
Region Titles Won
Several teams clinched region titles in Week 10.
Class 7A: Thompson, Hoover, and Central-Phenix City all won their respective region titles.
Class 6A: Clay-Chalkville, Mountain Brook, and Hewitt-Trussville all won their respective region titles.
Class 5A: Wenonah, Jackson-Olin, and Oxford all won their respective region titles.
Class 4A: Andalusia, Leeds, and Etowah all won their respective region titles.
Class 3A: St. James, Montgomery Catholic, and Madison Academy all won their respective region titles.
Class 2A: Fyffe, Abbeville, and Elba all won their respective region titles.
Class 1A: Sweet Water, Marion County, and Maplesville all won their respective region titles.
Playoff Spots Lost
Several teams lost their chances at a playoff spot in Week 10.
Class 7A: Bob Jones lost to Hoover and is now out of the playoff picture.
Class 6A: Spain Park lost to Vestavia Hills and is now out of the playoff picture.
Class 5A: Gadsden City lost to Wenonah and is now out of the playoff picture.
Class 4A: Demopolis lost to Andalusia and is now out of the playoff picture.
Class 3A: Elmore County lost to Montgomery Catholic and is now out of the playoff picture.
Class 2A: Aliceville lost to Abbeville and is now out of the playoff picture.
Class 1A: Ragland lost to Sweet Water and is now out of the playoff picture.
